The photography of Félix Le Garrec

In the 1960s and 1970s, Douarnenez and Concarneau were France’s leading tropical fishing ports. Félix Le Garrec saw this as a great reporting opportunity, which in 1971 took him aboard two tuna seiners: the Île de Sein and the Président Lacour.
