With the “Between the Lines” (“Entre les lignes”) exhibition, Erwan Dimey uses images to show the harmony and diversity of canning work in Douarnenez. Before the closure of the historical Chancerelle cannery site on Boulevard Richepin, he decided to read “between the lines” (or rather between the production lines) through 46 photographs that capture the gazes, actions and faces of its workers, who are symbols of local heritage.
