When the maritime world inspires design

Delta is an exhibition exploring a meeting between designer François Azambourg and the Port Museum’s collections. Around 200 of the designer’s pieces (including furniture, vases, lights and mobiles) create a dialogue with items from the museum’s reserve collections: a reinforced concrete boat from 1848, models, shipwrights’ tools, 3D images of boats… François Azambourg, sensitive to the environmental concerns of our times, experiments with materials, shapes and the imagination. The past, present and future of the maritime world provide this inventor-poet with an ocean of inspiration.
